Lisa Curbow, RDH, has nearly three decades of clinical experience in both periodontal and general practice, along with leadership roles as an office manager and hospital coordinator. Her diverse background gives her a well-rounded perspective on both clinical care and practice operations.
Personal experience has deeply shaped Lisa’s work. As a parent of a child on the autism spectrum and with family members living with chronic illness, she has developed a strong passion for improving care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as those with complex medical needs.
Lisa is a Certified Dementia Practitioner dedicated to equipping dental teams with the knowledge, confidence, and practical strategies needed to successfully care for patients with special healthcare needs in today’s dental practices. She is passionate about helping clinicians create more inclusive, compassionate, and effective patient experiences.
In addition to her clinical and educational work, Lisa brings extensive expertise in front office operations. With years of experience as an office manager, she is highly skilled in dental insurance systems, patient communication, and practice management software optimization. She works with dental teams to streamline workflows, simplify daily processes, and improve overall practice efficiency and profitability.
Lisa partners with practices to build confidence in treating patients with special needs while helping teams strengthen their systems for long-term success.
